I guess it says we are gone to much if I am never home to post about our adventures!!! Clay being the wise man that he is decided that we needed one last trip before the summer of Clay came to an end.. (aka employment) So after my family left.. we headed down south.. okay just a few hours away to a great resort that we have been to before called Rough Creek Lodge.. its fantastic.. there is a great pool with a lazy river and a slide that the kids could go down non stop..

There was a great hike out to a fossil dig..

We took a great safari style ride around for a wild life tour, saw some deer,cows, buffalo and horses!!

The kids look quite red, rest assured we kept sun block on them but in Texas its still 800 degrees at night and standing in front of a fire doesn't help either!!! So that's sun and heat!!! We we were having so much fun fishing, climbing the rock wall,flying down the zip line, playing in the bounce house, jumping on the trampoline, playing with the goats.. that we didn't take any pictures, but had a great time instead!!! We left on the 4th of July to head home for a baseball game.. more to come on that!!
