UPDATE: Clay is a super healer. I don't know what his mom ate while she was pregnant with him, but hes got bones of steal. Perhaps the healthy diet he at as a child can be a contributing factor to the fact that I have never seen someone heal so quickly from injury. Broken elbow.. 1998, had it in a sling for 2 days then the Dr. said he needed to start moving it or he would loose range of motion, and that was it. Then 2002 he dislocated his ankle/foot, tore the ligaments and broke his leg, had to have surgery to straighten his foot, repair the ligaments and a 12 titanium plate and screws to support the fibula. He was in a cast and off of it for about 2 weeks, then he was told to walk on it, the hardware would support the broken bone, but that the sooner he moved it the better his range of motion would be. It was quick. Now the broken arm, the Dr. was almost sure it would need surgery, but he set it right and 4 weeks later instead of going to a half cast, the Dr. said it was good and gave him a wrist guard and to start moving it. Clay told the kids that it was because of all their constant prayers for him that he healed so well. I can say we are truly blessed that he recovered so well!!!
